Olympus
by Lee Burnett, Germantown
Academy, PA
Task
Each
one of you will be assigned one of the Greek gods to study. For
your project, you will need to know:
- Where
the god comes from (how he/she was born or created)?
- What
his/her powers and areas of expertise are?
- One
myth which illustrates these powers or is in some way well known.
This
information will be presented to the class in a Power Point presentation:
- Be
clear and concise, don't put in tons of extra writing. Use lists
and outlines.
- Support
your lists with illustrations-either your own or ones from a
book or the web.
- You
will be giving an oral presentation to the class. Be prepared
to discuss, explain, and go into further detail about your god
and the myth you've chosen.
Due
Date:
Wednesday, November 22. Once the presentations are made in class,
everyone is responsible for knowing the myth and the information
given.
