The Life and Labors of Hercules

Secondly, after the students have learned the traditional legend of Hercules, the teacher shows the Disney version of the legend. Before watching the Disney version, students are divided into teams to see who can spot the greatest number mistakes made by the Disney version. This is really fun to do. The teacher will want to preview the video if they haven't seen it yet.

The next page provides a Sample Unit Plan for teaching Hercules and Greek Heroes.
