No one in particular though I have many traits from many of the figures that I relate with.
When did you know you wanted to be a classicist?
When I was studying Latin in middle school.
Who has been the most important mentor in your career?
My high school Latin teacher because he made Latin alive and showed the many different aspects to it.

Tim Potter’s Romans in Northwest England.
What trend in Classical Studies do you see as positive?
The ability to adapt and use new technologies in presenting the material.
What trend in Classical Studies do you see as negative?
The lack of academics willing to view new ideas and changes.

Waterproof matches, convex lens, Latin dictionary, Swiss army knife, and bubble gum.

Endocrinologist.
