Not very popular with the Greeks, examples of this order are rarely found in Greek architecture.
The Entablature Essentially the same as the Ionic order.
The Capital The chief differentiating feature from ionic columns, the capital of a Corinthian column looks the same if viewed from all four sides and is richly ornamented with two tiers of an acanthus-leaf design. Above the leaf ornamentation are four, smaller volutes, one on each corner of the capital, which join the column to the entablature.
The Pillar Essentially the same as the Ionic order.
The Base essentially the same as the Ionic order.
