Silver Jubilee at Conjugation Station on CTCWeb

Dedham, MA- November 8, 2006 – Climb aboard the virtual train headed toward the silver-plated Conjugation Station on CTCWeb with Latin knowledge engineer Sue Shelton. Shelton, a Latin teacher with the Florida Virtual School, is this month’s AbleMedia Silver Chalice winner for her Verb Conjugation PowerPoint Presentations published on the Classics Technology Center on the Web (CTCWeb, www.ablemedia.com/ctcweb). “Shelton has the silver bullet for helping educators train their students in Latin verb conjugations just by conducting them to a computer work station to use her award winning presentations,” said Wendy E. Owens, CTCWeb Editor-in-Chief.

In Verb Conjugation PowerPoint Presentations, Shelton builds on her track record of award-winning work available on CTCWeb. Shelton provides exercises, drills, and skill-builders so students can steam towards full knowledge of the fundamentals of Latin verb conjugation. Shelton’s Verb Conjugation PowerPoint Presentations is a series of four presentations on conjugating all tenses and voices of Latin verbs that use the first, second, third and fourth conjugations. Shelton’s verb conjugation exercises are presented via charts and moving graphics and include questions about Latin grammar. “I am thrilled to have my work featured on the CTCWeb,” says Shelton. “I hope that they will benefit Latin teachers and students everywhere.”
